Master of Ceremonies - Candice Dixon

Keeping everyone in line on our Sound Stage is the gorgeous Candice Dixon, our Kidtopia emcee for the weekend. Candice is widely recognised for her work as a host of Seven Network's national children's TV Show Saturday Disney. Candice is also a guest host and reporter for Seven Sport, Sydney Weekender, The Daily Edition and The Morning Show. 

CYRUS (SAT 8 october)

X Factor winner Cyrus Villanueva will perform at Kidtopia on Saturday, 8 October. The unassuming, chilled out singer-songwriter from Wollongong impressed audiences, during the 2015 season of Australia's hit talent show and his debut single Stone debuted on the Arias singles chart at #4.

Cyrus is bringing his full live band to Kidtopia and we can't wait to see him live!

Designed especially for kids, the Australian Taylor Swift and Katy Perry Tribute show delivers a high energy tribute to the current queens of pop. With a full live band and a real life Katy and Taylor reproducing not only the sounds but the onstage antics, images and costumes. Playing all the hits including Shake it Off, Hot & Cold, Wildest Dream, Roar, Lovestory, Firework, Trouble and more! 


Hellraizers are the Australian Jnr Hip Hop Champions. They have also appeared in musicals, commercials, major concerts and corporate events. They were recently featured on the Channel 9 Today Show and also Channel 7 Sunrise. 2016 sees them competing in Las Vegas, where dreams will become reality as they represent Australia on the world stage.

ZBOYZ burst onto the scene quickly becoming one of the most sought out dance crews in Australia. Formed in 2009 by New Zealand dance elite Matthew Gavet and Edward Tafa, their successes include representing Australia in the World Hip Hop International Competition and Australia’s Got Talent. They now stand as one of the best dance crews in the world, recently taking out 2nd Place in the World Hip Hop International in Las Vegas. The ZBOYZ made history as the first Hip Hop dance crew from Australia to make Top 3.

Hailing from Sydney, 17 year-old singer-songwriter Marcelo started playing music from the age of five. A rough ride at school fed Marcelo's musical ambitions, where he sought solace and inspiration. Musical tastes in his early teens was driven by the likes of The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys, Panic At The Disco and The Kooks. Marcelo recently toured with Taylor Henderson, and will be touring with Little Sea in July. With a Debut EP release in the works, he's entertaining his fan base with pop-up gigs in the meantime.

The Vegetable Plot is a "roots musical” for kids, families and foodies starring some of Sydney's tastiest musicians and singers. Serving up a feast of fresh grooves, catchy tunes, colourful characters and delicious puns, this funky bunch will ensure you never think about roots music or vegetables the same way again.  Join Aspara Gus, Sir Paul McCarrotney and Blowbergine as they take you deep underground for a ride on the soil train.



BATTLEBIRD, the galaxy's finest time-travelling, spacehopping, pop-rocking kids band has just set its dials for 2016, so buckle up and get ready to party like it’s 1979! BATTLEBIRD is the unlikely trio of Lucky Luke, his eight-year old son Elliot ‘The Kid’, and Scooter their trusty robot DJ and hype-man.

Described as  “(more) Daft Punk than Dorothy the Dinosaur” and taking “clear inspiration from 90’s Beck and old-school Beastie Boys”. With an emphasis on fun, upbeat party jams with titles such as “Gelati Party” and “Bounce to the Beat, ”Battlebird’s music lies somewhere between “Hot Potato and Hotline Bling”. 



Afro-Funk, Reggae-Dub and Rock'n'Soul luminaries, LYRE BYRDLAND, are a 10-piece instrumental, carbo-loaded groove machine. Real-life music bursting with blood, sweat and tears, reminiscent of dance halls all across our universe from 1969 to 2019.




The Hi Tops Brass Band hail from Sydney, Australia. With their heads in the clouds and their feet buried deep in the roots of New Orleans second line they blend 10 pieces of raw brass with the who's who of Australian hip-hop.

So roll up and come steppin' out with some good vibes on a street near you. Don't worry, you'll hear them coming.
