Performing daily on our Sound Stage
Music: Count Us In is Australia’s biggest schools program, existing to advocate for a celebration of music in Australian schools. In 2017, over 650,000 students from over 3,500 schools will all celebrate music together as they stop and sing the same song, on the same day, at the same time as part of Music: Count Us In’s National Celebration Day on Thursday 2 November.
Five lucky students from around the country helped write the 2017 Program Song, ‘Shine Together’, in collaboration with Program Ambassador, John Foreman OAM, and 2017 Program Mentor, Taylor Henderson. It is a song by students and for students.
Music: Count Us In helps Australia’s young people learn, enjoy and share music with their school, community and family. The benefits of music are numerous and significant, and we believe that it is never too early for children to start experiencing and enjoying music.
Join us at Kidtopia as we showcase some of the music that has been created as part of Music: Count Us In’s 11 year history and celebrate the music-making of some local Sydney school groups.
