KIDS IN THE KITCHEN
Kids in the Kitchen is our special masterclass series dedicated to making healthy and fun food!
Learn step by step instructions on how to prepare your chosen delicious dish, with fun, educational facts about food and how to enhance a dish by adding fresh ingredients from your herb pots of veggie garden. Children also learn about sustainability and waste reduction in the kitchen and making food choices that are healthy for both individuals and the environment.
Dishes are designed to inspire young chefs and give them the tools to make healthy food choices for life! Choose between Italian pasta, Mexican guacamole, Asian won ton along with sausage rolls or vegetarian lunchbox fillers. At the end of the class, each child will have made their own meal to take with them!
**Each class is approximately 45 minutes with a maximum of 30 attendees per session. Children must be between 5 and 12 years of age to attend. One attendee per ticket only.
Italian Ricotta GnoccHi
Make Ricotta Gnocchi with homemade Napolitana sauce, Caprese salad stick and freshly baked herb bread.
Each child will take away a serve of ricotta gnocchi with Napolitana sauce and freshly grated parmesan, a caprese salad stick and a herb bread twist.
Daily at 10:30am
Make a great base beef mix and then create a layered Mexican dip including homemade salsa, guacamole, bean mix and lots more! We will then demonstrate how to use your base beef mix into 6 great recipes including bolognaise, enchiladas, stuffed potatoes, cottage pie, empanadas and quesadilla’s.
Each child will take away their own layered dip with corn chips.

Make your own Lunchbox
Delicious Cheesy corn muffins, a baked muesli bar slice with carrot sticks and hummus.
Each child will take away a lunch bag with a muffin, a square of slice, some carrot sticks and a pot of hummus.
Daily at 12:30pm
Home Made Sausage Rolls
Make hand made sausage rolls freshly baked and loaded with veggies, a side of apple slaw with homemade tomato chutney/sauce.
Each child will take away a hot sausage roll with a serve of apple slaw and tomato chutney.
Daily at 1:30pm
Asian Dumplings and Dipping Sauces
Make 3 flavours and shapes of dumplings and a selection of dipping sauces.
Each child will take away a serve of freshly cooked dumplings with their choice of dipping sauces.
